What I was interested in his talking is about stories of global politics, China rising. Lastely they've overtaken the U.S. as the world's biggest car market and Germany as the largest exporter. Also, they've started doing DNA tests on kid to choose their future careers. Since my major is international politics and economy, I focus on what China is going on. A lot of pople live in China and China is big country. Actually, Chinese economy has been going good and China is regarded as one of big developing countries in the world. A few years ago, China overtook Japan at GDP. However, they have never experienced an economic crisis; for example, the Japanese Bubble economic crisis in 1990s. Even though, their economy has been growing, they should consider how to deal with the issue that will be happen.

They have many problems, including environment and internal trouble between haves and have-nots, and different ethnic groups. I saw interesting photos recently of the developnment of a highway continuing around one house of a family who refused to sell it. Citizens are sometimes ignored.
