Do you think parents in Japan are becoming more careless?

I strongly agree with Takayuki, who is a guy and 28 years old. As you read, he mentions that current parents are not as MATURE and NOT ready to raise kids. I have the same opinion. Compared to past, the current parents are not mature. For example, the number of parents who married because of shotgun marriage is growing; nevertheless they aren't ready to have child. In that case, they have problems, such as their age, money and so on. What's worse, it is hard to take care of a child in Japan due to the bad economy. Since most people cannot earn a lot of money, it effects to having the child badly. As for how serious they are, the most current parents don't regard the life of babies as the important thing. Actually, the number of violence to the babies has been increasing. How sad it is, isn't it? We should give "LOVE" to the babies and thank to the God to have them. My opinion is exactly same as Takayuki's opinion; the situation is getting worse with each generation.

Before I die...

What important to me is my family. After I watched the presentation, I felt a bit sad because the speaker mentioned that the person she'd loved passed away. I know we cannot live forever. Someday, we will face to death because it is the one of rules we never change. I don't like to think of the death; it sounds like a philosophical topic. I believe there is not a way to solve it except for the God. Before I die, I would like to love my family as much as I can. "Love" sounds like not special word because many people use it. However, I think "Love" is the BEST way to thank and be happy together. I've sometimes heard one maxim: Love and Piece. Again, before I die, I love my family as much as possible...

News Stories...

What I was interested in his talking is about stories of global politics, China rising. Lastely they've overtaken the U.S. as the world's biggest car market and Germany as the largest exporter. Also, they've started doing DNA tests on kid to choose their future careers. Since my major is international politics and economy, I focus on what China is going on. A lot of pople live in China and China is big country. Actually, Chinese economy has been going good and China is regarded as one of big developing countries in the world. A few years ago, China overtook Japan at GDP. However, they have never experienced an economic crisis; for example, the Japanese Bubble economic crisis in 1990s. Even though, their economy has been growing, they should consider how to deal with the issue that will be happen.

Quiet War...

Well, unfortunately, I have quietly rebelled against my junior high school. I guess that was because of kind of an adolescent for me. I don't know exactly why I was rebelling against the school; however, I was thinking that rebelling was a kind of cool thing at that time. I tried escaping from classes and eating lunch during the classes. Doing differently to rebel is due to desire of human. In other words, people try to be satisfied by the differentiation. Come to think of it, it is similar to fashion. People buy clothes, but they do NOT want to buy same clothes. Buying different clothes and wearing them could make people satisfy because of the differentiation. I guess that is the one of desire of human being.

The Internet...

As the speaker explained, Our age is exactly new generation regarding using the Internet. Most of people have positive opinions or imgaes in terms of "a open society"; however, I believe there should be pros and cons about it. As you can imagine, there are many good points. For instance, it's about community like FaceBook, Skype, mixi and so on. Even if people cannot meet up each other, they can talk on the Web through a computer. What's more, by using it, it makes it possible to do business all over the world. It's not hard to do for us because we are used to this environment. It's like a part of our life. In other words, it's almost impossible not to dispense with using the Internet. Although Our generation might be happy compared to people who are more than 30 years old right now, we aren't always happy. For instance, since it became the open society, it is hard to protect our personal information (private information) compared to a few years ago. I think that that is going to be a big problem in the future.

Endangered Cultures

I was able to understand what he mentioned about; however, I believe it's difficult to come true his idea. There are some of reasons why it is hard to do. Well, the main point is due to economic growth. Although we try to keep such a minority culture, we cannot dispense with it. In order to make a profit, companies should focus on establish brunches more. It might be reason we are rapidly loosing our current minority cultures right now. If we focus on both of economic growth and saving all cultures, I guess that may be a contradiction. Perhaps, it makes it possible to save the all cultures, but I don't have any good ideas. My idea is just to save the cultures as much as possible. I can understand the reason people want to save it. If I were such a people who have minority culture which has been loosing, I would save it and try to deal with it. However, it's very tough more than my expectation to solve the problem and do it.

Fitting In...

When I was elementary school student, I have one friend bullied by many classmates. He was facing a lot of problems at that time. Her parents got a divorce. Since his mother decided to take care of him, he didn't have his father. What's worse, his mother didn't have a lot of money, though she was working very hard. As you know, there exists money(salary) disparity between men and women. Men can earn a lot of money, whereas most of women cannot do. That's why both he and his mother were facing such a difficulty. He was not able to buy many clothes and TV games, so classmates was making fun of him little by little. Finally, they begun to tease him. Here is my opinion why such a bully thing happens in Japan. I guess there is one key-word: adolescent. Most of all human beings would experience the adolescent in their life. That is a process of being adult. On the process, they experience lots of things; it's not only good things but bad things. I guess to tease someone is the one of action of adolescent. It would happen not only in Japan but other countries; for example, U.S., Canada, and more. We might not be able to stop happening it. Even though, we cannot stop it, we must teach how bad it it to children. In order to reduce the number of children who are teased, we should teach it to all children and make them understand. We keep teaching until the time when children don't tease. I regret that I couldn't help him by myself because I was also afraid of being teased by classmates. In oreder to make them stop teasing, I decided to get a power when I was 8 years old. What I did was KARATE. I have still been to the place to practice fighting to protect all my great friends...I hope the number of them will be ZERO in the future...
